Manor Road

Our Holderness Road setting is situated in a grand building which has been a landmark on Holderness Road for many years. The former Barnardo’s building and former doctors surgery has been transformed into a beautiful nursery with many of the historical Victorian features intact, offering our children a home from home environment.

We are on a direct bys route to the town centre, making accessibility for working parents/carers easier and we also provide an onside car park for dropping off and collecting children.

Our Holderness Road setting was opened in 2018 after a full refurbishment by us. The nursery offers a preschool unit downstairs with direct access to one of the largest gardens in the area. Our specifically designed baby unit is situated upstairs and consists of a baby room with a seperate sleep room, a large toddler room and a soft playroom for physical activities.

We also operate an Out of School Club within the setting. We collect children from local schools on an evening and they have their own designated area on the bottom floor of the building. We offer a Holiday Club for the older children in this space too. For more information on our Out of School and Holiday Clubs, please contact our Nursery Manager Direct.

Our bright and airy rooms are furnished with high quality equipment designed specifically for young children. All of our equipment and educational resources were carefully chosen to offer learning and teaching opportunities for the children. We continuously encourage and support children to expand their explorations within authentic and natural resources.

Childcare Choices

2-Year Funded Sessions

Our nurseries have been chosen by the LEA to allow us to offer places for those children eligible for the 15 hours funded education at the age of 2 years. The funding for 2 year olds meets a different funding eligibility and is offered only to either low income families, families on specific benefits or children with special needs.

3-Year Funded Sessions

All children aged 3 years and over can claim the 15 hours universal funding from the term after their 3rd birthday. These funded childcare hours are the same hours that a child would access if they attended a school nursery. We are inspected by Ofsted and the LEA to ensure we offer the same learning and development as school nurseries.
